FAQ
Do you photograph weddings?
I am open to shooting the right weddings. If I am the right fit for you and I feel that my style will meet your expectations, then yes...I will photograph a wedding.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Dallas, Texas and I will travel. Anything within 25 miles will be no additional charge to you, but everything beyond will be on a case by case basis to determine the cost of travel. Typically you can use $0.67 per mile to determine what the additional expense will be.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 3 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
For 1 hour of shooting, you will receive approximately 15-20 lightly edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
How much do you charge per hour?
As a general rule of thumb, my rate is $250 per hour. However, custom packages are available. When looking at the cost associated with a photographer, it isn't about the time spent shooting. It is the time spent on creating the moment and editing each photo taken. A 2 hour session of photography can lead to 5-6 hours spent on making them perfect for you.
Will I get all of the images?
Something to remember is, not all images will be delivered to you. Part of the process is analyzing each image and adjusting those images to make them perfect for you. For example, if your eyes are closed or the image is blurry, then those images don't make the cut. What gets delivered to you will undergo a minimal editing (I like to stay as close to original as possible) process to make sure that you receive the best images possible. I do not deliver RAW images to clients.
Do you use Photoshop to edit the images?
I do not use Photoshop when editing the images, unless it is a special situation. I do my very best to get it right in the camera. If I can do this, then the image will stay as close to original as possible. I will use Lightroom to adjust lighting and tone, but there will be no "cut and paste" on any of your images.
